ACO BH abstract awarded best Health Econometrics abstract at ASHEcon

Kimberley Geissler, PhD, principal investigator of the Pediatric Behavioral Healthcare and ACOs study, has been awarded Best Abstract in the Health Econometrics program area at the 2025 American Society of Health Economists (ASHEcon) conference. The abstract, titled “Impact of Medicaid Financing and Delivery System Reforms on Pediatric Behavioral Healthcare Utilization and Disparities: Evidence from Massachusetts,” examines how Medicaid policy changes influence access to and equity in pediatric behavioral health care.

ASHEcon’s annual awards recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the field of health economics, celebrating both emerging scholars and established leaders advancing the discipline.
