Dr. Sarah Goff, Professor and Chair of Health Promotion and Policy, has been selected as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar for 2024-2025 for New Zealand where she will continue her research on quality and equity in health care systems.
Q4A Lab member Sanjana Ravikumar '24 earns 1st place for her poster entitled "Unmet Support Needs of Black Birthing People in Greater Springfield: Insights from Community-Based Organizations," based on the BESIDE project. She traveled to the American Public Health Association meeting in Atlanta to further present her work.
Associate Professor and Chair of Health Promotion and Policy Sarah Goff has been awarded a five-year, $2.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to examine the impact of Medicaid accountable care organizations (ACOs) on the quality and outcomes of behavioral/mental health care for children in Massachusetts.

Charlotte Gilson ’25, a sociology major working in the lab of Associate Professor and Chair of Health Promotion and Policy Sarah Goff, has been named a fall 2023 UMass Amherst Rising Researcher. The Rising Researcher program recognizes undergraduate students who excel in research, challenge their intellect, and exercise exceptional creativity.
