The Birth Equity and Support through the Inclusion of Doula Expertise (BESIDE) Investment Program at HPC seeks to address inequities in maternal health outcomes and improve the care and patient experience of Black birthing people by increasing access to doula services.

The Quality for All Lab partners with other investigators at UMass Amherst, Baystate Medical Center, and the University of Connecticut to measure implementation outcomes for the BESIDE project.
